Emergency Services
If your situation is urgent and requires immediate attention, you may request to see the urgent care therapist. Some examples include, but are not limited to the following:
--If you are thinking about harming yourself or others,
--If you feel unable to function,
--If you are seriously concerned about other students’ welfare or safety, or if you have experienced a traumatic event.
During office hours (8AM-5PM M-F) there is always a staff member available by phone (949-824-6457) to assist you. Walk-in urgent care services are available M-F from 8AM - 4:30PM). When you call or walk-in simply ask to be seen by the urgent-care therapist.
After hours:
--Dial 911
--For on-campus emergencies, call the UC Irvine Police Department at 949-824-5223
--Call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) at 1-800-273-TALK.
